Bohaha! The time for an event is at hand! In fact, it will take place on September 28th, just in the night of time for those who need a candy by that date.

CARNIVAL CORPSE
Carnival Corpse is an event that pits Deadman against Deadman in an epic battle where the only weapons are one's own flesh and blood! Spectators abound and winners will win it big! But losers beware, there are the most tragic of punishment games reserved for those who don't make the mark. And for a fun twist, fellow inmates can influence the game too... Here's what's going to happen:
SPECTATOR BONUS
Every Deadman Wonderland inmate receives 100,000CP for free on the start date of the tournament.
CUTTHROAT CARNIVAL CORPSE
In a combination of Cutthroat Kitchen auctions and The Hunger Games style "sponsorship," inmates will be able to bid on specific items that they can use to affect one of the Carnival Corpse tournament fights. The auction items will go up for bid before the fight, but after the opponent matching is announced. Inmates will be able bid CP on items and if they win, they can choose to force the item on one of the Deadmen. For example, electrical shock bracelets to one of the Deadmen's limbs to prevent full use, blindfolds, or other items that the Deadmen cannot remove or the fight is forfeit.
CARNIVAL CORPSE
Any character who is a Deadman (G-block residents) will be able to be signed up for the Carnival Corpse tournament. To sign your character up, reply to this post under this comment. All of the signed up Deadmen will be pitted against each other using an RNG. You do not get to pick your character's first opponents for this event, they will be randomized. In replying, please post ALL characters in a single comment if you have more than one character you would like to participate. This will help prevent characters from the same player being paired together.
Deadmen in a Carnival Corpse fight are only permitted to fight using their bodies and their Branches of Sin. No external weapons are allowed. The Carnival Corpse battle ends when one of the Deadmen is incapacitated or dead. It does not end upon refusal to fight. If both opponents refuse to fight, incentives will be given at the discretion of The Warden, The President, The Director, or Irving. This could mean physical harm to one of the combatants, a CP fine, harm to someone they happen to appreciate the company of, or anything that the mods decide is appropriate.
Winners of a round gain 1,000CP. The Deadmen coming in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will all receive 10 candies (a month's supply). The last Deadman standing (1st place) will additionally receive 1,000,000CP. If the Deadman loses, they will be forced to play a penalty game. Penalty games can be read about here. Should a Deadman die during the course of a fight, they will still have to face their penalty after being revived. All Carnival Corpse battles and penalty games are broadcast across the prison for all to see.
After the first level, the winners will go on to fight each other until there is only one Deadman left standing. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reply to this post and a moderator will get back to you as soon as possible! You have until Sunday to sign up. Don't be scared, Carnivals are meant to be fun~

- What's to keep my character from just taking the 100,000CP and using it for candy?
Nothing-- if they just want to keep the 100,000CP that's fine. But there's an incentive for them to join in the auction beyond that. If the Deadman who their purchase benefits wins, they will gain a return of double what they spent during the auction. If the hindered Deadman wins regardless of the auction item hinder, they only lose the money they spent during the auction.
Example: Sally won an auction at 81,000CP to force Jill to fight in a banana suit*. This leaves Sally with 19,000CP no matter what happens in the fight. This would favor Jill's opponent, Hung. If Hung wins the fight, then Sally will receive 162,000CP in addition to the 19,000CP for a total of 181,000CP added to Sally's account. That's almost enough for a second candy, keeping Sally alive for longer. If Jill wins the fight, then Sally only keeps the 19,000CP. It could be dangerous, but the payout could certainly be worth it-- especially if Sally is worried that the next event might be even more terrible or not in time for her next antidote needs.
